What is Buchwalter’s Fundraising Program?
To better help non-profit organizations in the community achieve their financial goals, Buchwalter Greenhouse has developed a Gift Card Fundraising Program. We have found that Gift Cards have these great benefits:
- Easy to sell
- Have no expiration date
- Can be used at any time throughout the year
- Make great gifts
- Allow customers the freedom to choose any items they would like to purchase in our garden center
How does the Fundraiser work?
- Fill out a Buchwalter Greenhouse Fundraising Application form and let us know the dates you would like to hold your fundraiser.
- Take orders for Gift Cards using the form supplied by Buchwalter Greenhouse (copies can be made as needed). Gift Cards sell for $20 each.
- Turn in your order forms and a check for the total money collected to Buchwalter Greenhouse to receive your Gift Cards. You may also call ahead with the number of Gift Cards sold so we can have them ready to pick up.
- Distribute Gift Cards at your leisure.
- A check for the amount earned will be given to the group once all money has been turned in.
Helpful suggestions for your Fundraiser
- A typical selling campaign lasts about 2-3 weeks.
- Holidays and/or the upcoming spring season create wonderful opportunities to sell Gift Cards.
- Setting aside time to go into the community as a group can yield huge results!
- Let the customer know who your group is and the reason you need to raise money.
- To prevent confusion, we ask you to appoint one contact person from your group for us to work with directly.
