Each January, local businesses gather to present “June in January”, an outdoor living event, that brings a welcome dose of SUMMER to winter-weary Ohioans. This fun and idea-packed weekend is normally held in Buchwalter Greenhouse’s heated, tropical indoor showroom. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year's event will encourage social distancing with displays at these four locations:

Patios For Patriots

June in January partners proudly support Patios for Patriots, a non-profit group started in 2015. Honoring the service of veterans with patio makeovers funded by donations is the heart of the organization. Patios For Patriots solicits nominations from the public of deserving candidates, who must have served in the Amy, Marines, Navy or Air Force and have been stationed in a conflict zone.
At this time, June in January has helped to fund three projects in the Wayne County area: Ed Beard of West Salem in 2017, Shirl Evans of Wooster in 2018, and Josh Timko of Wooster in 2019.
