Temporary Shopping Policy & Update - Effective March 22, 2020
In order to comply with the Ohio Governor’s stay-at-home order and for the safety of our customers, Buchwalter Greenhouse will be operating with drive-up service only through April 6, 2020. We know many of you rely on us for your gardening needs, including seeds, compost, tools and supplies. Gardening is also therapeutic and has many health benefits related to it.
To make a purchase, you can simply:
1. Call in your order to (330) 669-3489
2. Pay over the phone
3. Let us know the color/make of your vehicle
4. Drive up and we’ll place the order in the back of your vehicle
During the stay-at-home order, we are not able to offer shipping or delivery.
We are currently sowing and transplanting vegetable crops like lettuce, spinach, radishes, broccoli, etc. These early vegetable plants will be ready and available for purchase in mid-April after the stay-at-home order is scheduled to lift. Most gardening and planting in Ohio occurs in the months of May and June, so we encourage you to spend this time cleaning your gardens, and planning what you’d like to plant in the upcoming weeks.
We want to reassure everyone that as your local greenhouse, we are continuing to grow the vegetables, herbs, flowers, perennials and hanging baskets that you love. When it is time to start planting, we will be sure to post guidelines to help you be successful this season. Please stay in touch with us via Facebook, Instagram, and our website as we adjust our operations. We are working on our online store and will announce when it is ready for use. Thank you for your continued support of our family and business!
